Grow the business. Build what makes it better.

I'm Anthony Aguilar, a business development director with 13 years in transportation. After a decade leading and coaching sales teams, I now sell directly to customers. I listen for what customers and operators actually need and turn those needs into working tools.

01Selected work

Customer problems, turned into working tools.

Each project started with a need I saw in sales and operations. The case studies cover what I noticed, what I decided, what changed and what isn't done yet. Every screen is a real capture of the live product.

AI & Freight

A free, no-login site that records how freight and logistics companies report using AI, with the strength of each source labelled.

My roleFounder. I set the scope and evidence standards and made the name, domain and business-model calls; AI agents handle much of the build and daily research under those rules.

Territory Atlas

See where your customers are on a map, then search around your book of business for other prospects. It runs in the browser with no account and no application backend.

My roleCreator and maintainer. I built it for my own territory, then opened it up as a public tool, set the privacy and data rules, and built it with AI coding assistants.

02Experience

A career built around people and progress.

Thirteen years in transportation, including four progressive roles across frontline sales leadership, sales operations and business development. This is where I learned to lead people, read what customers need and grow accounts. Today I'm in a direct selling role, winning new customers myself.

  1. January 2025 – present Current

    Business Development Director

A direct selling role. I win new truckload customers: target the right prospects, learn how their transportation network actually runs, and match it to the right asset-based service. I own opportunities from first outreach through account growth.

  2. 2022 – December 2024

    Business Development Manager

Led a sales team responsible for an established book of business. Worked across the enterprise to strengthen retention and grow revenue across multiple logistics services.

  3. 2015 – 2022

    Sales Operations Manager

Managed and coached sales professionals while improving sales processes, systems, technology and automation.

  4. 2014 – 2015

    Sales Team Lead

Developed sales associates, taught commercial discovery, and led the mentors who supported the leadership pipeline.

What I bring

  1. Led people to results

Across ten years in leadership roles, from coaching new sellers to leading a sales team, I set clear direction, gave practical feedback and fixed the processes that slowed people down.

  2. Find the real need

Customers and operators rarely ask for software. They describe a missed follow-up, a claim they can't check or a territory they can't see. I define that problem before anything gets built.

    How that shaped Reo
  3. Turn it into a working tool

I build with AI coding tools and agents, test the result against the real workflow, write down what isn't done, and use what I learn to improve the next version.

03Approach

Curiosity, put to work.

I like understanding how things work and finding ways to make them better. AI tools and agents help me build and test ideas; my experience helps me decide which problems are worth solving.

  1. Listen closely

Start with the person doing the work. Find the missed follow-up, the scattered information or the extra steps that get in the way.

  2. Connect the dots

Bring together what I know about customers, sales and operations to make the problem clear and the idea useful.

  3. Make it tangible

Use AI coding assistants to turn an idea into something I can try, question and improve. A working tool teaches more than a pitch.

  4. Keep improving

Check the details, test the workflow and stay honest about what is ready. Use what I learn to make the next version better.
